Three interactive experiences for Pinterest that celebrate and bring inspiration to Cannes Lions.
We created three distinct “lands” for visitors to explore, encouraging them to think differently about what inspires them, while driving more users to Pinterest. We oversaw everything from the early ideation to the creative direction and spatial design.
We worked with architect and designer Yinka Ilori to bring Playland to life: an adult-sized playground made to ignite our inner-child and encourage a sense of play.
Visitors to Discoveryland were treated to a multi-sensorial experience. After noting down their favourite tastes, smells and sounds they were served a bespoke cocktail devised by The Robin Collective.
Dreamland was designed to be a relaxing space in which guests could set aside time to think through their creative ideas and aspirations.
Accompanying videos were shown on giant screens at Cannes, created by Pavilion Works and animated by Gianluca Alla. They were shared across Pinterest’s social channels, documenting the space being built and other behind-the-scenes footage.
We created a successful, inspiring space at Cannes Lions that set Pinterest apart and resulted in an increase in sign-ups and engagement on the platform.
